Our first chapter is leather.
A Material With Character
For our first collection of bags and accessories, we select full-grain leather for its feel, natural character and strength. Each hide has its own variations. Working with these qualities gives every finished piece an individual presence.
Rich colours and considered proportions shape the collection. These are pieces imagined for a life in motion.
The Care of Making
Our leather pieces are cut and stitched by hand. Their making requires patience, a practised eye and an understanding of the material. Each panel is carefully selected and positioned. Every line of stitching contributes to the structure. Edges are finished with attention to how they will look and feel in daily use.
This work gives substance to the finished object. Its value rests in the leather, the skill of the artisan and the time devoted to bringing each detail together. It is care you come to know through use: in the feel of a handle, the balance of a bag and the finish of its smallest parts.

At CONFIDENTIAL, respect for the material begins with its origin. We work with ethically sourced, traceable leather, using hides that are a by-product of the food industry. Knowing where our leather comes from is integral to the care with which we transform it.
